Program description
A-US Air Conditioning of Texas (“A-US Air,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates a transactional SMS program to communicate with customers about active and scheduled HVAC service visits. Messages are sent only in connection with a service request you have made, or a service we are actively performing for you. We do not send marketing or promotional content through this program.
Message types
Messages in this program may include:
- Technician arrival notifications and estimated arrival time
- Appointment rescheduling links when we need to move your visit
- Warranty authorization status updates — submitted, approved, or declined — from third-party home-warranty providers
- Secure one-time payment links for completed services and the completion confirmation that goes with them
- Account security notifications and one-time verification codes (MFA) for registered users
Message frequency
Message frequency varies based on your service activity. Typically 2 to 5 messages per active service visit. You will not receive recurring messages after your service is complete unless a new service is scheduled.

Message and data rates may apply. Check with your mobile carrier for details about your plan.
How to opt in
You are opted in to this SMS program when any of the following is true:
- You request service from A-US Air Conditioning of Texas and provide your phone number through our customer intake or dispatch flow (online, over the phone, or in person).
- You submit your phone number through a A-US Air Conditioning of Texas web form (for example, the request a quote or contact form) with the SMS consent checkbox selected.
- You register for a customer account and provide your phone number for login or multi-factor authentication.
Consent to receive SMS is never a condition of purchase of any good or service.
How to opt out (STOP)
You can opt out of this SMS program at any time by replying STOP — or any of STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, END, QUIT, or CANCEL — to any message you receive. You will receive a single confirmation message and no further messages after that. To re-subscribe, reply START.

Supported carriers
The program is supported on all major US carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Privacy
No sharing of mobile information.
We do not share, sell, rent, lease, transfer, or otherwise disclose your mobile phone number, SMS opt-in status, or SMS consent information to any third parties or affiliates for any purpose — including, without limitation, marketing, promotional, or advertising purposes.
Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent information will not be shared with any third parties under any circumstances. The only exception is service providers that operate our messaging platform on our behalf (for example, our SMS carrier) and only to the extent necessary to deliver the transactional messages you have consented to receive.
